Changing Chords
Im sure by now, you've already watched a lot of my videos in this blog. Probably you already purchased a guitar, learned how to hold your guitar, how to tune the guitar, how to read tablature, the music alphabet, the strumming, time signature, etc. However, if this is your first time to visit my blog, please try and read or watch my other posts because you will learn a lot of the basics in this blog.
Now, about our lesson today, we are going to learn the chord A minor as well as focusing on the 3/4 time signature and the strumming plus learning how to change chords. On our previous lessons, we learned the chord Em (E minor) and the strumming, plus we also learned the chord E (or E Major) and the different Time Signatures. We will now put it all into practise.
I've chosen A minor because it is technically the same position as the E Major. The only difference is the strings that you are pressing. The E Major are the top strings starting from the open E which is the top most string or the number 6 string. Whilst the A minor is the second to the top string which is the 5th string.

And this is how it's written on a tablature or TAB. If you don't know how to read TAB yet, please got to my post on how to read tablature. It's very handy if you know how to read guitar TAB. Because in the future, if you want a more advanced lessons, you can just simply search the internet for a particular song or guitar solo and put the word TAB and Im pretty sure you will find it online.
